What You’ll Do
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Review and approve purchase orders based on the organization's needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate bids. Analyze market trends to recommend product substitutions and ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels to meet operational needs. This includes tracking orders and coordinating with suppliers to confirm timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Ensure that all procurement activities are documented and compliant with company standards.
- Work closely with other departments, such as accounts payable and quality control, to ensure smooth procurement processes and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation and analysis of purchasing patterns, ensuring that procurement costs are minimized without compromising quality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Expectations
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related business field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing, production control, and warehousing in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
- Must understand the financial implication of Materials Management
- Must be proficient in MRP systems
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
