INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST SR - MARKETING DEPARTMENT

Salary Range: $43.2700 - $66.5300 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

The Sr Internal Communication Strategist has a specialized focus on developing organizational communications plans and communications that foster employee understanding,  engagement and brand advocacy. This role is pivotal in highlighting our employees, fostering a strong internal culture, and equipping staff with key information and communication tools to become ambassadors for our brand. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of internal communications expertise, marketing skills, and a passion for employee activation. This position requires strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to execute initiatives that elevate our brand through our most valuable asset: our people.

• Support the development and implementation of the organization’s internal communications strategy, including key messaging, communication channels and tactics.
• Create and deliver internal communications content, including email updates, newsletters, intranet content and presentations, collaborating with the cross-functional marketing team when needed.
• Build strong relationships with communications requesters to understand desired outcomes, propose a communications solution based on best practices, and execute on messaging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional marketing team to identify opportunities to amplify brand messaging through communications messages, activations and more.
• Ensure that all content follows communications best practices and is grammatically correct, meets business needs, and aligns with brand voice/guidelines
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant.
• Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and help foster a positive organizational culture.
• Manage and maintain the organization’s internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and user-friendly.
• Serve as the liaison between marketing and other departments to ensure brand messaging consistency and to leverage expertise across the company for content creation and advocacy efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or brand advocacy. Experience in the Healthcare Industry is preferred. Experience managing and maintaining internal communication tools is a plus (intelligent communications platforms, internal email software, intranet, etc.)
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful internal marketing and communication strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
• Experience in training or coaching individuals or groups on brand advocacy or similar topics.
• Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics software.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior management.
