Quality and Food Safety Director

Join Kellanova as the Quality and Food Safety Director for our Jackson, TN facility. In this role you will lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance and food safety programs across the facility. Use your knowledge in quality and food safety systems to enable capability building, drive decision making and provide leadership to the site. As part of the site leadership team, you will drive strategic initiatives aimed at increasing food safety and quality at all levels of our operations.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Leadership – Lead the site and your QFS team in all aspects of quality and food safety from the strategic direction setting to the every day details.
• Quality Assurance and Food Safety Programs – Develop, maintain, and implement quality assurance programs. Oversee all food safety programs including HACCP, GMPs, FSQF, and others.
• Audit Prep and Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards including FDA, USDA and internal regulations. Lead internal and external auditing activities and preparations.
• Strategic Initiatives and Continuous Improvement – Drive continuous improvement initiatives from the top down to enhance food safety and quality.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

• Bachelor’s degree in a QFS or related discipline
• Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations such as GMP and Food safety standards in accordance with the FDA
• Strong auditing and assessment skills
• People and process leadership experience
• PCQI and/or HAACP certification

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $164,400 - $215,775, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
