1. Unbinds restraining material from skids and moves into position of depalletizer.
2. Operates depalletizer, feeding cans into the production line at a rate capable of maintaining continuous operation at the closing machine.
3. Responsible for physically lifting up to 40 pounds as required.
4. Removes damaged cans from each level of cans and unjams can track when necessary or whenever possible.
5. Should not leave assigned work area unless given permission by the Supervisor and/or Leadperson.
6. Stacks empty pallets and can dividers.
7. Maintains a clean work area in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
8. Adheres to common safety practices/guidelines including the wearing of protective clothing and equipment as required.
9. Adheres to plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.
10. Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to:  GMP’s, HACCP, safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
11. Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor and/or Leadperson.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working in a food processing facility.
