Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer, Internet of Things (IoT) in South Burlington, VT; Camp Springs, MD; or in a location to be determined upon offer acceptance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Engineer a single, flexible, highly available, scalable, and secure platform, which allows the organization to rapidly and effectively deploy, monitor, secure, service, and patch endpoint devices and peripherals.
- Experiment using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and AirWatch to manage Windows, Apple, and mobile devices.
- Maintains the SCCM environment for continued, highly available support for operating system deployment, patching, servicing, application deployment, asset compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Use Microsoft Intune solution for integration with other fully supported Microsoft products such as SCCM and Active Directory.
- Engineer the USCIS device management environment, including AirWatch, Configuration Manager (referred to as SCCM), Intune and related Windows, Apple, and mobile device administration tools.
- Develop concepts and strategies to further optimize and standardize the management of devices within the USCIS environment based on factors such as industry best practices and interoperability with other technologies within the Enterprise.
- Engineer Apple workstations in the USCIS environment, including accounting for device usage growth.
- Engineer the USCIS Microsoft Windows environment using software distribution, imaging, and patching capabilities within SCCM.
- Perform integration of MDM within a secure active directory.
Basic Qualifications:
- Five (5) or more years of subject matter expert with monitoring performance and throughput, setting baselines for acceptable performances standards while teams develop new solutions.
- Experience working in public and private clouds.
- Ability and readiness to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
- Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
- Experience with major cloud providers preferred.
- Possess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Proven experience with managing and using Dev Ops concepts.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Certification:
- MCSE certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with tools including: ServiceNow, GitHub
- Experience with ITIL, DevSecOps and Agile concepts
- Experience supporting Government contracts
Security Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability
- Current DHS EOD highly preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.
