Position Summary
OVG is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Food Service and Hospitality to lead our organization's strategic initiatives in the food and hospitality sectors for our new Mexico Operations. This senior role involves overseeing operations, driving growth, and ensuring the highest standards of service and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership in the industry, with the ability to innovate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, managing budgets, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This position reports directly into the President of OVG and will be an integral part of growing the business in Mexico.
This role pays an annual salary of $250,000 to $300,000.

Responsibilities
- Lead OVG Mexico management team in day to day operation of business including financial, sales & marketing, culinary, and operations functional direct reports.
- Align and operate division so as to fully leverage shared services/functions within OVG Mexico and exploit efficiencies of systems and programs.
- Create and execute business plans for division to achieve Corporate objectives.
- Produce and report on annual budgets, monthly operating results and forecasting for division in conjunction with FP & A.
- Identify strategies and opportunities and work closely with OVG Business Development to grow core business including using OVG relationships and synergies.
- Drive client satisfaction and retention thru client centric focus and high quality operating practices and standards.
- OVG Hospitality Point Person for client, maintaining a strong and positive relationship with clients and stakeholders.
- Guide sales & marketing strategies for company including critical brand management and positioning.
- Develop high impact leadership team thru effective talent development and active performance management.
- Serve as key spokesperson and represents brand and division to external industry and clients as well as internally to OVG organizations.
- Maintain operational standards and programs to ensure quality and consistency of products and services and compliance to company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant Mexico laws, regulations, and company policies, mitigating risks effectively.
Qualifications
• Significant working knowledge and operating experience in food service and/or hospitality management industry. • 15+ years of diverse experience overseeing some combination of catering, food service, restaurant/café, retail and hospitality service operations. Multi-unit portfolio responsibility preferred.• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with hospitality, culinary arts, food service management or related program focus• Expertise in contract and leasing negotiations. Union experience required.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets, business pro forma/modeling, capital planning and operating KPI’s.• Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think strategically• Experience with business development activities• Ability to travel as required.
Bilingual in Spanish required.
