Residential Coordinator - Norfolk
Summary: The Residential Coordinator (RC) is responsible for overseeing the Residential Managers (RM) and the residential homes of the respective RM. The RC is responsible for the overall direction, training, coordination, and evaluation of the RM. The RC will ensure the RM and the locations of the RMs are run following ILC’s Policies and all applicable laws. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, and directing the work of the RM. The RC is also responsible for performance coaching and management of RM and the people they supervise.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
· Payroll and timecard checks
· Approve/publish schedules for locations ensuring correct hours are scheduled according to supervision needs
· Review and approve expense reports
· Reading daily and weekly updates of the individuals supported
· Schedule and run L10 meetings with RMs
· Visit residential locations and do a visual inspection/environmental review and observe the RM minimum of 1x per week
· Ensure leadership, management, and holding RMs accountable for following job expectations This includes meeting with RMs at least monthly to review and provide coaching and retraining as needed
· Responsible to train new RMs and provide continuous training thereafter, as well as oversee Supported Services Managers
· Responsible for all aspects of the residential services including knowing the RM’s job duties and responsibilities
· Complete performance reviews on RMs
· Rotation to be on-call on the weekends and respond to emergencies
· Responsible for managing overtime and analyzing decreasing trends
· Responsible for managing turnover and analyzing decreasing trends
· Actively involved with referrals and attending, and participating in the Welcoming Committee including follow-up on referrals and reporting back to the committee (weekly)
· Perform Social Security Rep Payee responsibilities as assigned and per ILC Management of Personal Funds Policy
· Perform investigations per ILC Policies and GER Resolutions in established timelines and ensure appropriate actions occur
· Review ISPs before annual and semi-annual meetings to ensure information is complete and attend annual ISP meetings/intake meetings and ensure changes are implemented
· All other duties assigned by the Area Director (AD)
Requirements
Residential Coordinator Qualifications:

Education/Knowledge, and Skills Required or Desired:
· At least two years of experience working with individuals with DD and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
· Experience in management/supervising employees
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in tasks
· Experience in administrative support or related fields preferred
· Experience in Therap preferred
· Complete and pass all required registry and background checks
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should know email software, word processing software; spreadsheet software, payroll systems, and Therap software.
