Benefits Analyst I

The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Benefits Analyst I, serving as a subject matter expert on Workday data integrations and analysis, supporting project management, and process improvement initiatives. In partnership with the team, this role will execute on communication strategy to promote programs and communicate key deliverables to associates, managers, and our HR Community.

What we’re looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in HR/Benefits, data analytics, project management
Self-starter with flexibility to operate and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and personal information appropriately.
Ability to work in a timely and organized manner to meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exhibits organizational efficiencies to execute on project deliverables within a reasonable time frame.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Knowledge of Workday integrations and payroll functions preferred.
How you will thrive and create an impact
Serve as the subject matter expert on outbound and inbound Workday data integrations, including resolving related data discrepancies and partnering with HRIS to execute integration enhancements.
Serve as the subject matter expert on file transfers from our benefits administrator to benefits vendors and work to resolve any data related issues
Support the Benefits team with ad-hoc report requests from various internal and external partners including, but not limited to, Payroll, HRIS, benefit vendors and consultants.
Partner with the Benefits team to execute on our communication deliverables, including quarterly benefits email alerts, distribution of vendor communication and Open Enrollment materials
Responsible for the maintenance of overall core communication content.
Understand as-is processes, maintain documentation on standard processes, and develop/prepare recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
Understand, document, and partner with team to report key data metrics to our stakeholders.
Provide general project management support to the Total Rewards team, as needed.
Execute on other operational/tactical goals for the team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
