Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) to join our team in Taos, NM. In this role, you will use your lived experience to support individuals navigating mental health and/or substance use recovery. You will serve as a mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement to help clients build independence and achieve personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide peer support services to individuals in recovery
  • Assist clients in developing and working toward personal recovery goals
  • Offer guidance, encouragement, and emotional support
  • Help connect clients with community resources and services
  • Document services in accordance with agency and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with clinical staff
  • Promote hope, self-advocacy, and wellness

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) in the state of New Mexico
  • Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for documentation
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
