Forensic Medical - Pathologist

PathGroup’s forensic pathology division, Forensic Medical Management Services of Texas, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Forensic Pathologist to join our team based in Tyler, Texas. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct forensic autopsies and postmortem examinations
• Determine cause and manner of death in complex medicolegal cases
• Prepare and deliver thorough, court-ready autopsy reports
• Testify in court and provide expert consultation to legal and investigative professionals
• Collaborate with law enforcement, coroners, attorneys, and public health officials
• Participate in quality assurance, accreditation, and training initiatives

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Forensic Pathology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with courtroom testimony and medicolegal documentation
• Strong commitment to public health and professional
