Job Description
By joining this team, you will play a huge part in unlocking the potential of the LEGO Group’s data. The LEGO Group’s profitability and customer satisfaction can improve through a better understanding of how users engage with our content. You will enable new capabilities for the product, bringing data and software engineering practices into the team.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect and develop ETL pipelines in Databricks, applying business logic to the underlying raw data
- Mentor colleagues and promote good engineering practices within the team
- Collaborate with other product teams, both consumers and producers of data
- Develop and maintain infrastructure in AWS
- Spar with the team’s lead engineer, designer, and product manager
- Contribute to the department’s data strategy and the use of Databricks and data in general

The E-com and Content Analytics team is one of several product teams within the Partner & Markets area. The purpose of the team is to enable actionable insights for the LEGO Group’s B2B e-commerce presence and to establish a common data foundation for these insights.
The product team plays a crucial role in providing markets and channels with trustworthy information, driving informed decisions and boosting profitability. The team ensures seamless information flow and accurate use of product information and assets, protecting the brand while staying competitive.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Several years of working experience in a role combining data and software engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python or related programming languages, with a focus on testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Proficiency in building ETL pipelines using data technologies and implementing infrastructure as code, preferably utilizing AWS services
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or a comparable data platform
- Hands-on experience deploying code using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (for example deploying on AWS using GitHub Actions and Terraform)
