What you’ll do:
The Brass Tacks
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurant(s), bar, and banquet/event services, ensuring seamless guest experiences and high service standards.
• Lead and mentor direct reports including the F&B Manager and Executive Chef, fostering collaboration and a cohesive leadership team across front and back of house.
• Oversee the Executive Chef and F&B Manager to develop menus, manage inventory, control costs, and maintain operational excellence.
• Coordinate staffing plans across outlets and oversee weekly scheduling, ensuring labor costs align with business volumes and service goals.
• Own the full recruitment and onboarding process for front-of-house and back-of-house staff in collaboration with the F&B Manager and Executive Chef.
• Conduct ongoing staff development, including regular performance reviews, service etiquette training, and cross-training initiatives to maximize team efficiency and growth.
• Lead payroll submission process for all FOH and BOH staff in accordance with payroll deadlines.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and lead wine education efforts, including distributor meetings, tastings, and off-site events to uphold our reputation for a premier wine program.
• Ensure proper service execution by maintaining a strong presence on the floor, supporting team dynamics, table assignments, and smooth communication between front and back of house.
• Collaborate on all aspects of event planning and execution, working closely with the culinary and banquet/event leads to ensure successful private parties and group dining experiences.
• Work alongside the General Manager to develop and execute a marketing strategy to strengthen restaurant visibility, attract new clientele, and retain loyal guests.
• Analyze business performance metrics regularly and lead efforts to enhance food & beverage amenities, drive revenue, and improve overall profitability.
The Nitty Gritty
• At least 5 years food service leadership experience preferred
• The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to read, analyze, and interpret regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Computer knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook, Basic knowledge of POS is preferable.
• Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations
• Ability to create a team environment within and across departments.
• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong general management skills, including time management, information analysis, planning and organizing, decision making, problem solving, and delivery of results.
