Description
The Interagency Project Liaison serves as an administrative and operations liaison to provide project management, coordination, and organization to special projects that interconnects between CRCD, CRCD Enterprises, and CRCD Partners. This position is a key member of the CRCD administration team and department. The liaison will report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and play a critical role in providing project management oversight for special projects that leads to completion. The goal of this position is to ensure all operational and administrative projects are in alignment with CRCD’s mission, vision, and overall strategic goals, that lead to long-term infrastructure sustainability. The liaison will ensure interagency collaboration is strengthened by managing project progress, timelines, and assisting with coordination and facilitation.
As a key team member of the administration department, the liaison will provide support for facilities operations, strategic planning implementation, policy and procedure training and implementation, and meeting coordination and facilitation. The liaison will play a key role in bolstering the ecosystem of CRCD to promote interagency collaboration, while sustaining project success. Other functions of the liaison include:
• Lead projects from deployment, identifying schedules, scope, budget tracking, and implementation plans.
• Analyze interagency project status and, when necessary, revise project details, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
• Establish and maintain processes for managing projects during the lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing impacts.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide facility operations support and maintenance coordination in collaboration with CRCD Enterprises.
• Provide annual entity, department, and individual work plan implementation, coordination, and tracking support to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Senior Director of Learning and Evaluation.
• Establish and implement a policy and procedure training and implementation plan and
quarterly/annual calendar.
• Track, edit, and communicate internal policy and procedure.
• Develop and disseminate internal and interagency directives.
• Coordinate and facilitate the following monthly and quarterly meetings:
o Monthly Leadership Team Meeting
o Quarterly All Staff Meeting
o Monthly Operations Team Meeting
o Monthly Administration Team Meeting
o Monthly Coffee with Executives and President/CEO
• Track interagency project completions. Including regular updates, email communication, meeting facilitation, etc.
• Provide events coordination support to Director of Marketing and Communications.
• Collaborate with human resources and agency leadership to coordinate and facilitate CRCD World Tour.
• Create and support a high performing culture of administrative and operational support that is aligned with CRCD mission, vision, and core values.
• Shore up interagency communication and collaboration by sustaining the structure and organization of SharePoint file sharing.
• Collaborate with the fiscal and accounting team to ensure expenditures align with project completion (Facilities, furniture, maintenance, and repairs, etc.)
• Continuously strives to improve the quality and effectiveness of all programs, while maintaining brand integrity.
• Responsible for managing vendors and staff as needed and delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Uphold CRCD’s Mission Statement and 5 Year Strategic Plan.
Requirements
• Four or more years of project management experience.
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
• Proven success working with all levels of management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and to meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s licenses, and car insurance as required by law, as appropriate.
• Reliable, flexible team player who works well with minimal supervision, who has a good work ethic, and an ability to set and maintain personal boundaries.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Position will be in the heart of South Los Angeles, with an emphasis on the Vernon-Central community.
