Your Responsibilities

 

As a Customer Support Engineer for ISG Urbandale located in Urbandale, IA, you will:

 

  • Champion customer and technician needs including diagnostics, repair, maintenance, machine data, prognostics, uptime, and aftermarket portfolio for the Tech Stack.
  • Drive the diagnostic development process creating robust and effective diagnostic trouble codes and troubleshooting aids aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Collaborate with a cross functional team to incorporate A&CS requirements into product design.
  • Gather voice of customer and the technician for input to product design. This includes participating in and leading Customer Focus Groups and Dealer Focus Groups.

What Skills You Need

 

  • 1 or more years of customer support experience with customer interaction regarding products, parts, and services.
  • 1 or more years of technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems. 
  • 1 or more years of field sales and/or product support experience.
  • Factory experience including regular interfacing with design, engineering, manufacturing; worldwide geographic area of responsibility; focused product-specific knowledge.
  • Domestic and international travel up to 25%

  • Understanding of Customer Support Process.
  • Knowledge of products, customers, markets and competitors.
  • Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).
  • Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to Tech Stack products.

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
