Maintenance Technician- New Facility In Melrose Park

Description

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to

minimize downtime; responsible for set up, adjustment, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility.

Requirements

- Support Equipment (Ovens, Packing lines, Conveyors. Plumbing, Pneumatic Hydraulics, Cutting.

- Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills.

- Excellent trouble-shooting skills Service-oriented(responsive)

-Power Industrial Training Certification a plus

-Electrical, PLC Diagnostics a plus.

-Welding MIG, TIG, Stick a plus.

-Self-Starter- able to start and complete projects independently.

-Effective communicator Process-oriented, methodical

-High School Diploma.

-2-5 years’ experience in industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred.

-Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus

-Ability to perform the following: standing for extended periods of time; walking, lifting, climbing, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping

-Ability to lift 60 pounds frequently

-Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible work hours
