Job Purpose
Responsible for the engineering, design, and technical oversight during the construction of projects relating to the gas distribution networks in New York City (Staten Island, Brooklyn & Queens).
Key Accountabilities
Perform engineering and design for natural gas construction projects which may include distribution pipelines, bridge/highway/waterway crossings, remote-operated valve installations, check valve installations, and metering facilities.
· Manage all engineering aspects of a project, up to and including project closeout and compilation of as-built documentation.
· Manage multiple projects within budget and time constraints.
· Identify, specify, review, and approve materials to be used in gas construction projects.
· Identify and acquire the necessary permits associated with the projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline required.
· 0-2 years of engineering, design, or project management experience, including internship and co-op required.
· Engineer in Training (EIT) or FE preferred.
· AutoCAD experience preferred.
· A valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required.
More Information
Salary - $90,000 - $106,000
