Valiant Solutions is seeking a Senior Contracts & Pricing Administrator to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team!
The Senior Contracts & Pricing Administrator will manage the full lifecycle of federal contracts and subcontracts within the federal government industry. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of FAR and DFARS regulations, contract management best practices, and various contract types, including IDIQ, CPFF, T&M, FFP, and GSA schedules. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in federal contract administration, demonstrating expertise in negotiations, risk mitigation, pricing strategies, and proposal support. The role requires proficiency in Unanet, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google tools, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Required Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of full lifecycle contract administration experience in federal contracting environments.
- Expertise in FAR and DFARS regulations, particularly within the Civilian & Defense industry.
- Proficiency in Unanet, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google tools.
- Knowledge of various contract types, including IDIQ, CPFF, T&M, FFP, and GSA schedules.
- Experience with Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) terms and mitigation plans.
- Skilled in reviewing and negotiating terms, conditions, and statements of work to identify and mitigate risks.
- Skilled in independently negotiating with prime contractors and establishing strong client relationships.
- Proposal support expertise, including solicitation review, cost proposal pricing, and risk analysis.
- Ability to leverage technology to streamline contract administration processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially when guidance is vague, or precedence is unavailable.
- Proficiency in data analysis to support program and company decisions with the ability to analyze and manage project and subcontract funding needs independently
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and execution skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Professional certification in Contract Management is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cradle-to-grave contract and subcontract administration for Federal contracts.
- Initiate, negotiate, and manage agreements, including NDAs, TAs, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Issue, negotiate, and administer contract modifications, including funding limitations.
- Maintain accurate contract records, ensuring compliance with funding and contractual obligations.
- Research and resolve contract and subcontract issues, including disputes and terms/conditions.
- Assist with proposal preparation, including RFP reviews, Representations and Certifications, and price proposals.
- Apply pricing strategies, structures, and cost/price analysis expertise to support pricing proposals.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and communicate solicitation requirements.
- Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in subcontract solicitations, proposal evaluations, and approval coordination.
- Participate in negotiating, drafting, and modifying subcontract documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
