Job Description

The Consumer Bank Marketing Technology group is seeking a results-oriented team player with experience in using content management systems (CMS) to join Capital One as a Principal Associate Content Specialist. This role will be responsible for collaborating with Bank marketing and product teams to design, build, update and launch pages across the Bank website that address the ever changing needs of the business while capitalizing on the full features and benefits of our CMS capabilities. With sound working knowledge of utilizing a CMS, the position requires a dynamic and tech-savvy marketing communicator. This person will be expected to interface directly with internal Marketing and product users as well as leaders to understand their needs and ensure that the customer experience is at the forefront of creation and updates of our pages.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert on Capital One’s enterprise CMS platform

  • Strategically develop and align projects to enhance efficiency in the way we utilize the enterprise CMS

  • Help uncover ways to automate processes and exploring AI usage

  • Working with stakeholders to determine web page needs and consulting on best solutions

  • Work within CMS to update and build web pages

  • Collaborate with other functional areas within the organization and with external groups, including vendor management

  • Perform quality assurance checks on web page updates

  • Showcase learnings and successes through well-refined communication and presentation skills

  • Work proactively in an agile environment and identify when to work outside the process in whitespace

  • Serve as key liaison for and collaborate with cross-functional teams including partners from: Product Management, Performance Marketing, Business/Data Analytics, Tech, Legal, Brand

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of multi-channel marketing experience 

  • At least 3 years of experience in planning, execution, and analysis of marketing programs

  • At least 3 years of experience managing creative processes and working with creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a product marketing role
