To take our company to an international level, we are currently looking for a Lead Product Designer AI Products - this position offers an opportunity to drive innovation in the mental health market.

The role

We can’t fulfil our mission with 1-1 online therapy alone, and we’re excited about the opportunities around generative AI, so we’re exploring how it can help people with their mental health in other ways that don’t always involve humans directly. As the Lead Product Designer in our AI area, you’ll design complementary products to online therapy to create a brand new area of the business.

You’ll work as an equal partner in the product trio alongside the Product Manager and Tech Lead. You’ll go from 0-1 fast on a range of ideas and start to find product-market fit in one or more of those.

If you’re an experienced, entrepreneurial product designer with a track record of building products from the ground up, and have AI, conversational UI, voice control or similar experience, we have a great opportunity for you.

💻 AS A LEAD PRODUCT DESIGNER AI PRODUCTS YOU WILL:

• Work from the inception of an ambiguous space with little current work done, researching, testing, protyping, and designing solutions that our customer will get real value from. These solutions are likely to take many forms on web, mobile, smart speakers, and use visual, audio, and typed interfaces. This is not a standard UX/UI role.
• Care deeply about the ethics and safety of what you build, collaborating closely with clinical colleagues. You’ll see clinical ethics and best practices as a tool to build something truely impactful, not as a box to tick.
• Help drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a critical part of UnoBravo, balancing customer needs and business value
• With your Engineering, Product Management, and Data counterparts, you’ll lead and be hands-on with helping cross-functional squads in delivering new initiatives that help patients and therapists in brand new ways
• Own part of the AI Product KPIs, responsible for understanding how to impact them through experimentation
• Work closely with and influence senior stakeholders, always advocating for velocity and impact
• Regularly interact with our patients, therapists, and potential new markets to develop a deep empathy for our users
• Potentially manage one product designer in the New Products pillar
• Stay at the forefront of AI industry trends, emerging technologies and our competitors
• Mentor and inspire other Product Designers at Unobravo

⚙️YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF: 

• Very experienced as a Product Designer with a proven track record of 0-1 product building
• Experience working in multi-market, product-led companies
• Experience with AI, conversational UI, voice control, or similar non-traditional interfaces
• A proven track record of success in scrappy, find-a-way 0-1 projects, making a big impact through data-driven experimentation, alongside trialling bigger bets
• Experience of collaborating on a bold, long-term product-led vision
• Strong product design and research sense: you’re confident guiding the team even when faced with ambiguity or change
• The proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and foster collaboration
• A results-driven mentality - you set ambitious, impact-focused goals for your team and are not satisfied unless you achieve them
• A keen ability to balance user needs with business priorities. You love spending time with, and advocating for customers, and always look for opportunities to meet their needs alongside growing the business.
