Moderna is seeking a dedicated Principal Associate, Procurement Operations (Requisition Management) to ensure accurate, timely, and policy-compliant purchase requisition management as part of enterprise procurement operations. This role is critical to driving procurement efficiency and maintaining financial control across all departments within our growing Enterprise Solutions Hub (MESH) in Warsaw.

Here’s What You’ll Do:
On Operational Excellence:
- Create, own and manage purchase requisitions across all business units, ensuring accuracy, compliance with contract requirements, preferred suppliers, and sourcing strategies
- Proactively manage requisition queues and escalate process blockers when necessary
- Ensure transactional accuracy, documentation completeness, and audit readiness in line with internal controls
- Act as a subject matter expert for P2P processes, providing guidance and targeted training (one-on-one or in small groups) to business users on tools, processes, and compliance expectations
- Monitor and report on non-compliance issues and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Oversee testing and validation of system enhancements and new functionalities in SAP, Ariba, and ServiceNow, as applicable
On Project Leadership, Stakeholder Management and Functional Initiatives:
- Partner with leadership and the broader community in rolling out and optimizing cross-departmental process improvement projects
- Define and enforce consistent data standards and ensure our documentation process is clear, complete, and communicated effectively
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges, share metrics, and align on improvements.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Prepare analysis and reporting for leadership and stakeholders
- Partner with the Digital team to ensure tools and applications function as designed
- Undertake additional duties aligned to the scope of the role and your qualifications
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement Operations
- Ability to own, prioritize and manage work with limited daily direction
- Anticipate needs and proactively recommend next steps
- Well-organized, proactive, able to prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to transfer knowledge in plain non-technical language
- Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and make decisions
- Adaptable and resourceful with a process-oriented mindset
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Experience with financial systems including SAP, Ariba, ServiceNow
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Additional languages are a plus
