dormakaba is seeking an Operations Master Data Domain Lead based in Indianapolis, IN (hybrid). The Operations Master Data Domain Lead is responsible for developing and implementing a plan to take the data quality of the operations master data domain to the level required by key downstream end-to-end processes and projects.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $120,000 - $130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the identification of the operations master data domain’s critical data objects, attributes & business rules. Critical master data objects include Bill of Materials (BoMs), routings, warehouse locations, lead times, transportation routes, etc. Lead the definition of the operations master data domain’s codification, classification, hierarchies, status management
- Determine the need for data cleansing and migration, as required, focusing on support S8 (current global ERP) & future S4Hana deployments, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), IBP (Integrated Business Planning) / S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning), WM (Warehouse Management) & other projects related to the Operations data domain
- Design and implement the data management processes for the Operations data domain with a focus on deep automation and continuous improvement, embedding relevant business rules into the data systems as preventative and detective controls and first time right
- Define and implement a fit for purpose data & system architecture in the operations master data domain coordinating with corporate IT
- Define and implement a change management roadmap for the operations data domain.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- University degree with emphasis on data management, IT, supply chain, or engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in a global company
- Project management, leadership and implementation experience, also with virtual teams with a history of robust communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to effectively manage external vendors and near- & offshoring
- Deep exposure to SAP Materials, ERP, WHM, MES, Supply Chain planning & logistics modules
WHAT WE PREFER
- Experience in GS1/GTIN and S4Hana
- Exposure to configurable products
- Spanish, French or German as a second language
