Job Description
Pay ranges from $33-$53/hr depending on experience.
The Business Systems Analyst works within the Strategic Business Applications team to review, analyze, and implement enhancements for systems to support Summit Funding's strategic initiatives as a top lender in the mortgage industry. This role is responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) creating criteria and scripts for end users. The Business Systems Analyst will also utilize business intelligence tools and best practices including dashboards, reports and various KPIs.
What you would be doing:
- Oversee and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on all Strategic Business Applications (SBA) enhancements, documenting procedures and results of the tests.
- Develop comprehensive written documentation supporting visual mock-ups for projects utilizing third-party applications.
- Employ in-depth analysis and manipulation of loan-level data within the loan origination system (LOS) for testing, troubleshooting, and data manipulation purposes.
- Collaborate with business area technology teams to evaluate existing software solutions and recommend improvements based on data analytics.
- Utilize advanced business intelligence tools and methodologies for project tracking, reporting, and process improvement.
- Approve and ensure the accuracy of training documents and procedural policies.
- Conduct application-level project demonstrations with stakeholders and business areas before enhancement releases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- IIBA or PMI certification(s) in Business Analysis desired, or ability to obtain certification within 12 months of employment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Testing and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
