About the role

Responsibilities

The protocol and administrative assistant will assist the commissioning support protocol and administrative efforts. Principal duties: assist in the invitations and ticketing process in the weeks leading up to a commission ceremony. When necessary due to larger commissioning ceremonies this person would divide their efforts in assisting the RSVP ticketing process in the CAPS database and in assisting in the Will Call ticket distribution, as well as guest ticket validation the day of the event.

 

  •     Create individual electronic invitation packages.
  •     Create individual electronic ticket packages. 
  •     Send individual electronic invitations and electronic ticket packages by email to individuals.
  •     Monitor and respond to all email in NMCI RSVP inboxes.
  •     Add RSVP responses from Air Force Invitation System and NMCI RSVP inboxes to Commissioning Address Program Database (CAPS).
  •    Stuff and mail ceremony ticket packages.  
  •    They will monitor AFIT RSVPs and NMCI inboxes. 
  •    This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys travel! There are 6 remaining hulls scheduled to commission in 2023 and approximately 11 in 2025. You will get the opportunity to travel to the site of the commissionings. Trips will be 7-10 days per ceremony. On average, you can expect about 14 trips a year.
 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors in a related filed and 2 years of relevant experience OR Associates and 4 OR High School and 6 required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, web-based applications, and databases (specifically Excel).
  • Detail oriented and efficient multi-tasker with the ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly.
  • Self-motivated team player but able to work independently and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral); able to effectively interact with customers and associates at all levels.
  • Able to assist in the planning and execution large multi-faceted events.

Desired Qualifications

  • Must be able to physically maneuver on board US Navy ships including accessing high and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
