The Team:
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking passionate and dedicated clinicians to provide clinical services to children, young people and their families/significant others experiencing complex mental health concerns. These new positions will work alongside existing CYMHS services and have been developed as initiatives under the CYMHS reform program (Youth, Youth Forensic, Out of Home Care).

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, experienced clinical nurse specialists to provide clinical services to children/young people and their families/significant others.
The Role:
Undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs for our new programs in either Youth Mental Health, Youth Forensic Mental Health and/or Out of Home Care.
Working alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop the new mental health services in Tasmania.
Working with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Applicants who have undertaken training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) would be highly regarded.
You will need
- Undertakes the delivery of quality care to clients of Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
- Provides a specialist assessment and treatment service to clients of CYMHS and their families or carers.
- Promotes community awareness in relation to mental health and acts as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs.

Details of appointment:
Multiple permanent, full time and part time, day worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:
$109,767 to $115,813 pro rata per annum + our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
