D/FW Security Agent - Level IV (PPO)
Position: Armed Security Agent (Part-Time / Flex – Greater DFW Metroplex)
Region: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $27.50 – $35.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
Status: Part-Time (W2)
Position Summary
First Responder Protective Services (FRPS) is seeking a professional Armed Security Agent to join our growing team for assignments throughout the greater Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. These roles involve high-end security work including a mix of uniformed and plain clothes operations. This is not entry-level security work. We support corporate, private, and institutional clients seeking highly trained, polished professionals—not gas stations, liquor stores, bars, clubs, or concert venues.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working under a Personal Protection Officer (PPO) license. Prior law enforcement or military experience is strongly preferred.
Minimum Requirements
- Must currently hold a Level III Texas Commissioned Security License
- Must have an active Level IV Personal Protection Officer (PPO) endorsement
- Must be current on firearms qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience working under a PPO license
- Valid Texas Driver’s License (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
- Favorable driving history
- Ability to sit, stand, or drive for extended periods
- Must be reliable, professional, and capable of operating independently or within a team
- Must be willing to work both uniformed and plain clothes assignments as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or military service
- Experience in executive protection, school/campus security, or corporate security
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to follow strict client appearance and conduct expectations
Uniform & Equipment
- FRPS provides: Uniform shirt, hats, cold gear in winter, and OC spray .
- Agent must provide: Ammunition, Firearm (must be on FRPS-approved list), and minimum Level 2 retention holster. for uniformed roles; pants and black boots.
- Dress code for plain clothes assignments ranges from casual to business professional, depending on the client and operation
Compensation & Advancement
- Hourly Pay: $27.50 – $35.00 (based on experience and assignment)
- Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly via direct deposit
- Status: W2 employee (eligible for overtime after 40 hours in a workweek)
- Flexible schedules with shifts available during evenings, overnights. Mostly working Friday-Sunday
