Job DetailsJob Location: CCTRP - Sacramento, CA 95826Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: DayFounded on the steps of St. John’s Lutheran Church in 1985, Saint John’s Program for Real Change has helped more than 30,000 women and children transform their lives from poverty and dependence to confidence and self-sustainability.  Dedicated to the eradication of homelessness once and for all, this up-to-18-month comprehensive residential program provides families with the tools they need to address the root causes as well as the symptoms of homelessness:  mental health therapy, drug and alcohol counseling, life skills classes (anger management, parenting, budgeting, positive thinking, healthy relationships and more), a path to a high school diploma and Employment Training. The Female Community Reentry Program (FCRP) allows eligible offenders with serious and violent crimes committed to State prison to serve their sentence in the community at a FCRP as designated by the Department, in lieu of confinement in State prison and at the discretion of the Secretary.  The FCRP will provide a range of rehabilitative services that assist with alcohol and drug recovery, employment, education, housing, family reunification, and social support.

SCHEDULE               Monday- Friday, Day Shift

 

About the Position…

This position is responsible for the administration and clinical supervision of the FCRP client services including programming for substance abuse, mental health, case management, and vocational training.  Responsible for coordinating and directing clinical care and performance improvement initiatives and requirements.  Provides clinical supervision in group and individual sessions for staff and interns.

 

You’ll be responsible for…

Coordinates the day-to-day operations of FCRP clinical program services.
 Supervises a multi-disciplinary staff of three or more clinicians and counselors; confers with staff regularly regarding techniques used, case progress, and related matters for the purpose of promoting and evaluating professional development and assuring quality of care, as well as reviewing work in progress.
Conducts regular case conferences with clinicians, counselors, and interns for supervision and consultation; reviews participant case records and selects cases for discussion; supervises staff in assessing social, emotional and other causes of problem behavior and mental or emotional disorders and in developing and modifying treatment and approves alternative plans, or transfer of cases; supervises consultation activities of employees; is responsible for assignment and reassignment of employee caseload.
Coordinates the assignment of cases, conducts clinical staff meetings, and provides training; schedules staff to provide weekend coverage; evaluates work performance; assists in disciplinary proceedings.
Maintains a caseload or handles some of the more complex cases; performs a variety of direct clinical, diagnostic, and treatment services.
Ensures compliance with related federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures.
Participates in the establishment or revision of policies, procedures, guidelines, goals, and objectives.
Participates in community outreach and public relations activities.
The candidate must possess knowledge and skills in providing trauma informed and gender responsive services.
Develops, evaluates, and coordinates effective and efficient service delivery supporting clients to achieve self-sufficiency.
Functions at a highly skilled level in team leadership, assessment, individual counseling, group facilitation, and community resource development.
Contributes to the professional and organizational development of Saint John’s Program.
Ability to provide mental health assessments, appropriate mental health diagnoses and develop clinical treatment plans.
Participates in clinic intern recruitment and selection and arranges for orientation, training, and supervision.
Other duties may be assigned based on business needs and management discretion.

Masters and/or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or in a related field, with two years’ post-licensure pertinent experience in social services, with an emphasis on program development, supervision, case management, individual and/or gr
