Job Description
DreamWorks Animation is looking for an organized, efficient and motivated individual to join the Early Careers & Diversity Outreach team as a Coordinator.
You’ll work on handling recruitment coordination and programming support for our Intern/Trainee programs. This includes but is not limited to: interview scheduling and coordination, on-boarding, offering exceptional candidate experience, new hire orientation, employer branding, social media, event planning and more.
The Team:
The DreamWorks Animation Early Careers & Diversity Outreach team works with a wide range of schools/institutions across the country to identify up and coming talent who might have potential as a DreamWorks intern and/or trainee. We are a busy group supporting all diverse areas of our expanding business including DreamWorks Television, Feature and technology.
This role is located at our beautiful campus in Glendale, CA and reports to the Sr. Manager, Early Careers & Diversity Outreach.

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?”
- Support the Intern and Trainee Program through job posting, onsite/video interview scheduling, onboarding/off boarding, event planning, scheduling university visits, etc.
- Provide candidates with a positive interview experience by communicating interview details to candidates (interview schedule, detailed directions, parking instructions, etc.).
- Create and route interview schedules with resumes, portfolios and demo reels to internal partners.
- Assist in Early Career Program facilitation (programming events, orientations, final presentations, etc.).
- Support Early Careers & Diversity Outreach initiatives including but not limited to: event planning, scheduling, and marketing of academic programs, partner communications, vendor management, catering, facilities set up, etc.
- Schedule campus visits to Colleges and Universities (working with schools directly to arrange all logistics for visits, arranging travel, managing influx of student portfolio submissions, and maintaining/updating presentations and creating flyers/graphics, etc.).
- Curate content for social media (Instagram and LinkedIn) in support of the Early Careers Programs & Diversity Outreach initiatives; Partner with Talent Operations team for campaigns
- Create/update candidate records, track submissions and maintain our intern and trainee database
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in HR/Recruiting
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with Google Apps (Calendar, Sheets, Drive)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in event planning, scheduling and customer service
- Ability to travel to local colleges/universities during peak recruiting seasons

- Professional, well-organized, self-motivated
- Passion for entertainment and/or animation
- Experience working in the animation industry
- Graphic design experience (i.e. crafting flyers, invitations, etc.)
- Experience in fast-paced, high energy environments
- Experience with applicant tracking and/or candidate relationship management system
