Shift Schedule:

• Sunday – Friday: Dependent on route, average 4-5 days per week.
• Start Times range from: Midnight - 5:00am (dependent on route)
• 12-16 hour days, or until the route is completed.
• Routes will not exceed DOT hours.  
• Minimum of 1 overnight route per week, possibility of 1 overnights weekly.

 

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Driver for Dawn Foods, you will be responsible for completion of daily route as assigned in a timely manner, with safety and production in focus.  Obeying all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road including all DOT operating and recording procedures.  Conducting daily face to face interaction with customers; representing Dawn Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner. Duties may include but not be limited to breaking down product, shelf stacking, offloading with electric pallet jacks, performing pre and post trip vehicle inspections as well as collecting invoice receipts that are generated from the deliveries.
