Job Description:

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As an Operations Analyst Data Aggregation & Mitigation Support, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to a critical mission program in Tampa, FL.  You will play a crucial role in compiling information to help make decisions regarding military strategy. Responsibilities will include researching and modeling military systems performance and operations; developing analytical methods and tools to facilitate analyses; executing trade studies; performing data analytics & statistical analysis; and developing effective presentations that succinctly communicate results and findings.

• Coordinate due diligence, data aggregation & mitigation support with the DoD, the IC, industry, and academia

• Provides military/commercial aviation or para-rescue operations know-how

• Able to conduct AI/ML and data propagation for research and analysis

• Provides advanced analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design, or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.

• Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.

• Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data.

• Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.

• Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.

• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

• Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.

• May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

• May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.

• May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)

• Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military operations.

• Advanced knowledge of relevant technology and equipment.

• Specific certifications or military education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.

• Ability to serve as a technical team or task leader.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience: 6+ years of related experience either Military or Civilian Equivalent

Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI clearance

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Leadership Experience

• Special Operations Experience

• US Citizenship Required
