Location: RKM Primary CarePosition: Certified Medical Assistant

Since 1999, our mission is to provide open access to quality patient centered healthcare in the communities in which we live. RKM Primary Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 11 clinics in 5 parishes.
Direct Patient care: This position delivers primary care in an ambulatory heath setting, as part of a primary care team.
- Verify patient information, obtain vitals & document in EMR- Interact with patient to obtain medical history & document in EMR- Ensure all reports/labs are available- Maintain specimens as ordered by the Provider- Perform EKG’s as ordered by the Provider- Maintain exam rooms and equipment- Record keeping- Perform control checks for lab equipment- Admin duties as directed – process phone messages/scanning- Assist with team coverage through the organization as needed/requested
Qualifications/Skills:Current Medical Assistant Certification (Required)Current Basic Life Support (Required)Prefer experience in ambulatory care setting, preferred

Employment Type: Full Time, Monday through FridayStarting Salary Range: $13.20 – $18.27 per hour; up to 3% annual increases
