We are looking for you to join our team as an IPT Lead based out of Woodland Hills, CA.  As an IPT Lead at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You’ll Get to Do:

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking an IPT Lead to join our diverse and talented team in the development and implementation of advanced software defined radios for military applications. This role will be filled on-site at our Woodland Hills, CA site.

• Responsible for tracking and reporting cost and schedule performance of multidisciplinary scrum teams. 
• Own the overall technical quality and performance for the engineering content of the assigned scope of work.

• Project planning utilizing a resource loaded IMS and aligning to overall program milestones. 
• Meet cost account budget, schedule, and technical performance for scope of work as assigned.
• Manage scope and ensure alignment with contract and statement of work requirements.
• Form tiger teams to address issues with disciplined root cause and corrective actions. 
• Providing guidance to employees in various engineering functional roles focused on executing a defined engineering product development effort.
• Set and operate to objectives including cost, schedule, and technical performance of products.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, program management, mission assurance, and supply chain to resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner to meet program commitments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 8 years of relevant work experience OR Master of Science in a STEM discipline and 6 years of relevant work experience OR 4 years with a PhD
• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application, or similar knowledge, or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) 

• Experience in all aspects of the engineering process, from requirements analysis through verification testing.  

• Experience with Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) and Agile development processes. 
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Doors, Cameo and other project management toolsets. 

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management, Configuration Management, and Model Based Engineering environments.  

• Experience in presenting to various levels of leadership. 

• Prior team leadership in DoD programs.
