Your Career

We are seeking an excellent team player with strong coding, analytical and problem solving skills. The candidate should possess  hands-on experience with developing applications for distributed systems and high scalability designs. 

Your Impact

• Familiar with AWS and/or GCP/Azure and experience working on Big data computing like RDS, and open source databases MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch and others a big plus.
• Responsible for complete software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, deployment and support. 
• Write clean, testable, readable, scalable and maintainable code (cloud backend) that scales and performs well for thousands of customers.
• Participate actively and contribute to design and development discussions.
• Develop solid understanding and be able to explain Cloud Computing concepts to others

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Advanced level of experience building microservices in java using spring boot framework.
• Experience in designing and building low latency REST API’s for distributed systems.
• Experience with open source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
• Experience with queue technology like Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with relational SQL and/or no-SQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Splunk etc
• Strong passion and experience in troubleshooting, debugging complex systems and possess excellent problem-solving techniques.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or equivalent work experience

The Prisma Cloud Platform Engineering Team is responsible for building products that protect data, workloads, and infrastructure for some of the largest enterprise customers in the world. We are building the next generation Platform that will help the customers in their journey to the public cloud by ensuring they have the best-in-class protection.
