Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for their Program Analyst position located in Washington, D.C. This position will support and advise the Program Manager in planning, managing, and evaluating programs, operations, and processes. Engage with internal team members (technology, product management and program management) to gather and assemble schedules, project risks, system performance and other project monitoring metrics. Monitor program dashboard for tasks near or past due. Participate in regularly scheduled delivery team meetings to capture progress, document issues, and capture changes to ensure that the PMO is aware of all updates. Assist in performing a variety of ad hoc analyses related to schedules, infrastructure utilization, SLA performance, cost, and change impacts. Identifies, communicates, and resolves risks. For program compliance, designs and implements procedures to fulfill program objectives and criteria.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports.
- Determining program requirements and making recommendations.
- Analyzing policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize them.
- Drafting new or revised policies and procedures.
- Identifying and resolving issues and problems.
- Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and functional areas of the program.
- Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation using electronic systems and tools.
- Implement risk management to manage program risks and report and escalate issues to management.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related experience, master’s degree with 3+ years related experience or high school diploma/equivalent with 9+ years related experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel Skills.
- Experience in reviewing and editing document and reports for consistency in style, formatting, and messaging.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, driving timely decisions.
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and high stress operations environment while managing multiple streams of work simultaneously is required.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
