Job Description
Associate Project Manager Purchasing Responsibilities include:
Entry level position supporting Senior Project Managers and Department Head in below activities. (not all inclusive)
- release of purchased parts in support of eMotor / eMachine customer projects in the region
- SE work with engineering and supply base
- Achievement & monitoring of material costs against targets
- Bring projects into production according to establish projects timing / Ramp-up Management
- Interface between Purchasing organization and Business Unit
- Plan and manage cost / release of tooling
- Manage cost reduction and localization projects
- Partner with Purchasing Quality organization to ensure APQP elements are properly planned and implemented
- Manage Engineering Change process for purchased components
- Insure material costs meet targets as defined by project
- some portion of administrative tasks for group (Executive Assistant activities)
Qualifications

College Graduate - Various Disciplines Considered
SAP experience
Internal business -> Pref. Germany:US
2+ years Purchasing experience
Bosch PILUM systems experience (preferred but not mandatory)
