Maintenance Technician, 1st shift

Location: Wayne, PA (USA)

Onsite Monday - Friday (2 shifts: 6am-2:30pm or 8am-4:30pm shift)

 

 

As a Maintenance Technician at our Brand New DSM Biomedical location in Wayne, PA, a subsidiary of dsm-firmenich, you will be called upon to perform any and all duties consistent with assuring that dsm-firmenich products are of consistent and high quality. You will do this by assuming responsibility for set-up, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing tooling and their related equipment while maintaining a clean, secure and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, set up, repair, and maintain new and existing manufacturing tooling and equipment.
• Coordinate with OEM/Service vendors to ensure scheduling of maintenance activities executed by third parties
• Develop and update maintenance procedures, as necessary including recommending improvements to existing maintenance procedures or proposing new maintenance items to maximize equipment uptime
• Complete entries in Preventative Maintenance Logbooks and CMMS program.
• Work with manufacturing personnel to trouble shoot manufacturing process problems.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering as required.
• Assist with general facility issues relating to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services to maintain proper working conditions.
• Maintain, non-production equipment, which supports production.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory for completing timely repairs on all equipment.
