Job Summary 

Maintenance: General maintenance would be necessary on the following equipment, vehicles, tractors, lawnmowers, weed eaters, water truck, skidsteer, chain saw, hedge trimmer, pulvi-mulcher, backhoe and plow. This maintenance would include checking tires, fluids, belts, lights and batteries. Maintenance on inside equipment includes tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, computer, floor cleaners and sound system. Reporting vehicles and equipment hours and miles.

Secretarial: General knowledge of scheduling procedures and policies

will be necessary. It would be necessary to create invoices and provide

receipts, record income, purchase supplies, maintain soft drink machines and assist with

budget and grants. Grant writing, reports, and projects. Order parts and equipment.

Plumbing: Installing and repairing sinks, toilets, garbage disposal, ice machines, water

lines, facets, backflow devices and water meters.

Carpenter work: Moving and/or replacing fixtures, repairs to drywall, install new shelving,

painting and repairing and replacing buildings

Electrical: It is necessary to have general knowledge of breakers and electrical circuits.

Performs all other appropriate duties and tasks as assigned.

Janitorial: Responsible for all aspects of cleaning inside of the building. This includes but not limited to: carpets, floors, windows, appliances in kitchen, bathrooms, walls, closets, and offices etc. Painting when needed.

Seasonal Work:

Setting up events as needed.

Summer: During the summer months responsibilities include landscaping and lawn maintenance, mowing, gardening, weed eating, pruning shrubs and trees. Knowledge of the sprinkler system, irrigation, and hand watering in areas. Responsible for grooming and watering the arena and track. Repairing and installing new fencing.

Winter: Plowing entry way and all parking areas and through ways. Shoveling the entryways, sidewalks and deck. Removing snow piles with heavy equipment, and drainage. Ice chipping, plowing, and preparing the grounds for the winter.


Pay Rate 

The annual salary range is from $50,511.00 to $61,406.00, depending on experience, plus full benefits. 

*The County pays monthly on the last week day of the month.*
