2024 Summer Intern, DevOps Engineer

Lab Summary:

Bixby is a next-generation virtual personal assistant, brought to you by the team that created Siri. Bixby provides a truly open platform that lets any developer extend its knowledge and capabilities. It operates at a scale that few companies can match.

Position Summary:

We seek high energy engineers with a good understanding of data engineering. You love data and building pipelines that combine data from multiple sources. You use your communication skills to understand the use cases and use that understanding to create metrics and design dashboards for daily use and decision making.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop tooling and pipelines to manage and monitor a huge public cloud infrastructure
• Implement data analysis and collection required for dashboards and monitors.
• Implement automation to audit infrastructure and access

Required Skills:

• BS/MS/PhD Computer Science or equivalent field
• Proficiency in data engineering
• Experience with at least one programing language: (Java, Python, JavaScript…)
• Experience with Infrastructure As Code (IAC)
• Comfortable in a Linux computing environment
• Good communication skills

Within the hourly pay rate range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training.
