Warehouse Person-Warehouse-Full Time (Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino)

Starting pay for this role is $15.00 per hour and may vary based on experience

 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Warehouse Person is responsible for storing materials from Receiving in the Warehouse.

 

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  

High school diploma or equivalency or equivalent experience is preferred  

Must have good mathematical and clerical aptitude  

Safe driving record is required  

Six months previous warehouse experience is desired QUALIFICATIONS:  

Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team  

Must present a well-groomed appearance  

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and the warehouse.  

Must be able to continually lift, carry, push and pull heavy materials weighing up to 200 pounds.  

Must be able to reach below and above shoulders while performing duties.  

Must be able to lift up and carry up to 70 pounds.  

Must possess the ability to operate a pallet jack, forklift, weigh scale and pull carts and dollies filled with items weighing up to 100 pounds.  

Must be able to perform duties accurately in a noise, busy environment.  

Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.  

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.  

Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
