Lead/Senior/Software Developer, Web/Cloud Backend

R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as Office Flow, KONE 24/7 Connected Services  and Partnership Ecosystem.

Currently hundreds of world-class professionals, both internal and external, are working together in Finland, China, US and India to create these Digital Services to our customers. DevOps best practices, continuous integration, continuous delivery and latest tools are used to make sure we can provide most value for our customers.

We are now looking for

Lead/Senior/Software Developer, Web/Cloud Backend

to join our Remote Services development team, primary location for this job is Espoo, Finland. We work in a hybrid way, with a mix of office days few days a week and remote days.

In this role you will be responsible for designing and building cloud based solutions, enabling fast and efficient methods to maintain a device remotely and allowing predictive maintenance with the latest technologies and AWS as cloud provider.

You are an expert developer having experience with web technologies JS frameworks like Vue, React & Node.js, as well as cloud backend development or you can be in the beginning of your career.

The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, customer centric and dynamic environment and enable us to deliver and improve on the product quickly.  

Responsibilities

-Development of Web components using JS Framework technologies like React

-Development of Cloud backend using serverless technologies

-Development of UI responsive designs

-Working closely with Product Owner and feature teams to design and develop new features, unit and integration testing related to Remote Services

-Participating in knowledge sharing and demos

In order to be successful in this role, you’d have

- Preferably 5+ years of application design/development experience, but you can also be in the beginning of your career with less experience

-Some previous experience with JS framework technologies like Vue or React

-Some programming experience (TypeScript, Java)

-Experience on working with Amazon AWS platform (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFormation, SQS, CDK develop
