Currently we're looking for a mid career Project Manager, with a background in a relevant field.

The Project Manager is responsible for all project management activities related to quality, time, budget, results, information, communication and organization. This includes all disciplines involved in product management, R&D (Architects, SW, FW, HW, Quality and Test), procurement, Factory engineering, Production ramp-up and market introduction. A project manager manages multiple teams. Managing international teams may be part of the duties.

Your contribution to something big

• Setting up the project organization.
• Defining the project scope and creating the project plan (including resources, schedules, cost estimation).
• Delegate tasks to the various disciplines involved.
• Monitoring and tracking of schedules, costs and quality.
• Setting up a risk management plan (including identifying, classifying, quantifying risks and defining and planning risk reduction activities).
• Monthly reporting of budget, bill of materials, schedule and risks.
• Managing supplier relationships in close collaboration with procurement.
• Advise department heads in the assessment of project team members.
• Managing ("fire fighting" ) unexpected and/or "non-standard" problems as appropriate.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

• 5-8 years of experience in a similar position.
• At least a college level education.
• Project experience developing and manufacturing high performance electronic devices.
• Technical background in SW, electronics, or mechanics desirable
• Driven by results and quality.
• Enthusiastic, open, transparent, communicative and businesslike, persuasive and an organizational talent.
• Can make teams and different disciplines work well together.
• Can challenge teams to achieve excellent results.
• Willingness to travel when necessary
• PMP certification is desirable
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
• Knowledge and experience of MS Project and MS Office.
• Availability full-time (40h hours/week).
