The Allegion Quality Engineering Team is seeking a Sr. Software Test Engineer to collaborate with our Manufacturing IT portfolio and help achieve our mission to create greater satisfaction and trust in Allegion Software.

What you will do:

• Contribute to the Quality efforts for our D365 F&O and FS in our Manufacturing IT portfolio. 
• Create, plan, and execute a test strategy to deliver testing-related deliverables and services for new implementations and upgrades.
• ​ Communicate with and present to influencing internal customers. 
• Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them into test cases that capture all test conditions.  
• Own the creation, maintenance, and execution of test plans and test cases against our ERP platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing, and communicating test results, Peer reviews, defect tracking, and participating in day-to-day Quality Engineering Activities.   

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor degree or Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology related discipline, or equivalent experience 
• 5+ Years of experience in enabling Quality assurance. Demonstrate passion for quality engineering, willingness to explore and adopt emerging test automation toolsets for practical business purposes. 
• Demonstrate the ability and enthusiasm to coach and mentor colleagues. 
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain an upbeat positive attitude while working with an agile team to develop innovative technical solutions. 
• Demonstrate expertise in testing concepts, test processes, test design skills, and testing techniques. 
• Experience in test automation frameworks (RSAT, Selenium, Playwright, Testim) API testing, and Testing Grids (BrowserStack, AppAutomate), or equivalent.  
• Experience working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, in a global work environment. 
• Experience in test framework architecture, CI/CD integration, and DevOps principles related to software testing COTS/custom web solutions.  
• Effective in written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts enabling teams to be successful.  
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, negotiate and work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think on your feet, assess problems, and lead others to find well-thought-out solutions.  
• D365 F&O Functional or Business Analyst experience
• Familiarity and understanding of D365 Core Financials, Supply Chain, Field Service and Manufacturing.
• Exposure to ERP systems, especially AX 2012, D365 F&O, and Oracle.
• Experience in a global work environment
• Exposure to Agile environment  

• Exposure with Open-source test frameworks
