Description
Primary job function is to assist the provider in providing high quality, efficient and service oriented patient care demonstrating our core values. Under the direction of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Lead, assist with direct patient care. May be responsible for driving the mobile medical unit, minor maintenance checks on the mobile medical unit, and cleaning the unit. Assists with patient registration and exam room turn over.
Requirements
Education:
- Must have a certificate of completion from an accredited school of training for Medical Assistants.
License:
- Current CPR card.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent.
- Previous Community Clinic experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates the ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish without an interpreter.
