We offer a dynamic and flexible work environment with competitive benefits and the ability to grow your career.</p></div><p>The Engineer IV - Information Security, Tools and Engineering, is is a senior technical contributor responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement of enterprise security tools and the underlying infrastructure platforms that support them.</p> <p>This role serves as a technical leader within the Information Security organization, ensuring security technologies are highly available, securely configured, integrated with enterprise systems and aligned with organizational security objectives.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deploy, configure, maintain and optimize enterprise security tools, including new tool features and tool integrations</li> <li>Manage tool lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity planning and decommissioning</li> <li>Primary technical owner for assigned security tools/platforms</li> <li>Develop automation and an engineering first approach to reduce manual efforts</li> <li>Partner with security operations to ensure tools support operational workflows</li> <li>Establish metrics, KPIs and maturity roadmaps for security tooling effectiveness</li> <li>Ensure tools are configured, proactively monitored and maintained according to security best practices</li> <li>Participate in change management operations and other shared duties</li> </ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>4-year bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience required</li> <li>8+ years of experience in security technical experience</li> <li>5+ years of experience in network security</li> <li>Experience with deploying and maintaining enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, VM, Cloud Security and Security Orchestration and Automation tools</li> <li>Strong scripting and automation skills including Python and experience building automation workflows, integrations or tooling to support security operations</li> <li>Experience with Windows and Linux server administration</li> </ul> <p>This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.</p> <p>The pay range is $135,800 - $183,800.</p>
