Recreation Assistant (Sports/Indoor/Outdoor)

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience: Must have general knowledge and experience demonstrating familiarity with the routines, procedures, and practices of outdoor group activities. Proven experience in conducting outdoor adventure programs is required. Specialized Skills: Experience in white water guiding techniques, including swift water rescue and boatmanship, is highly preferred. Certifications: At a minimum, must possess an approved and current Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (or equivalent). Driving Requirements: The ability to safely operate a 12-15 passenger vehicle. Must successfully complete driver's license training and a physical fitness inquiry for motor vehicle operators.
