This position is with Keysight’s Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) organization. We design and manufacture laser interferometry systems, precision optical components, monolithic optics (CMOs), and advanced electronic test & measurement solutions. Our systems offer high precision in a wide dynamic range, the ability to simultaneously measure positions with multiple degrees of freedom, and the highest accuracy available in both air and vacuum environments.

Responsibilities

This position is an exciting opportunity for anyone that enjoys mechanical engineering, optics, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Primary responsibility is to support optical manufacturing processes. Responsibilities will include data collection and analysis of precision surfacing/polishing processes and interfacing with production and engineering teams. Machines include slurry pad polishers, pitch continuous polishers, and mrf systems. Clear communication through documentation and careful working method are a necessity.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering: Mechanical, Optical, Industrial, or Manufacturing

 

Skills:

Solid understanding of optics

Python and/or MATLAB programming

Siemens NX or comparable 3D modeling

ME10 or comparable 2D drafting

GD&T drafting standards

Ability to work with other teams

 

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2024. Applicants who have graduated before September 2024 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

 

This position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. California Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00 

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
