About the Role


Sellers Dorsey is seeking a Vice President of Administrative Operations who will assume both a strategic and tactical role to transform and continuously improve the Firm’s systems and business processes to enable growth, business intelligence, and client success. As the Vice President of Administrative Operations, you will be responsible for organizing and leading the organization’s efforts around business and process integration of newly acquired companies. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the regional leadership teams, product leaders, and corporate functional area leaders to understand the needs of their operations and provide the required support to accomplish the firm’s goals and execute the strategic and operational plan, and lead and mentor a growing team and dotted-line regional operations staff. This role is responsible for sharing and teaching subject matter and functional expertise. Travel is anticipated to be approximately 25%. This position is remote but will require travel to our Philadelphia office and other locations based on business needs.


Key Qualifications

  • Develop strategies to transform and leverage our processes and technology to enable growth. Set up and work with ePMO and other internal teams to execute these strategies. Understand and prioritize technological and process barriers to growth, work with stakeholders from across the firm to use and maximize technology to improve sales and account management.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the ePMO office to support project execution and delivery, change management to encourage adoption of new processes and technology, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Develop, implement, and refine ePMO processes, policies and standards to ensure consistency. Oversee the tracking of timelines, deliverable and milestones. Provide regular reports and updates to the Chief Administrative Officer on project status, risks, and opportunities. Develop and manage assigned budget ensuring optimal use of funds.
  • Drive standardization and consistency in business processes and standard operating procedures across all practices and corporate functions to maintain operational excellence and increase scalability. Facilitate and lead discussions with operations leads across the firm to share information, best practices, and processes. Oversee the refinement, regular reviews, and execution of the Authority Matrix to continuously improve decision making across the firm while mitigating risk. Establish, evaluate, and enhance operating systems, policies, and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across the enterprise.
  • Integration Planning and Execution: 1) Establish integration protocols across the firm’s functions. 2) Serve as the primary leader for post-acquisition integration activities, working to ensure seamless integration and assimilation of newly acquired companies into the firm’s operations. Drive the successful onboarding of acquired companies. 3) By collaborating with our Corporate Development Department, develop and execute integration plans focused on cultural alignment and operational alignment and overall business goals and objectives. 4) Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master's in business or similar advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of business experience, of which 3-5 years is in a comparable senior role in a growing consulting environment.
  • M&A integration experienced is required for this role.
  • Strong experience in the Professional Services industry is required. Healthcare experience is a real plus.
  • Experience in Finance (including run rates) and Human Resources is required.
