VP, Global Strategic Accounts
General Purpose:
Provides leadership for the MillerKnoll Strategic Account group, reporting to the President of Americas Contract. Accountable for driving revenue and profitability growth with new and existing select strategic global customers in the U.S. and internationally. Works cross-functionally to ensure our solutions and interactions are customer-driven and encourages the growth of MillerKnoll.
Essential Functions:
- Establishes and leads team to execute global sales strategies to grow MillerKnoll accounts, revenue, and overall profitability.
- Identifies, targets, and captures competitively held global strategic accounts.
- Selects, qualifies, and prioritizes accounts for the global program based on the strategic vision.
- Continuously monitors macro and industry trends, competitive information, and customer solutions to create new opportunities and represent MillerKnoll in global markets.
- Manage executive level customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements.
- Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations and business decisions.
- Creates strong cross-functional connections to develop plans, resource requirements, and influence our long-term business strategy.
- Provides superior quality communications with customers and dealers to ensure effective business activity.
- Forge strong relationships with industry organizations and associations leading to MillerKnoll brand awareness, customer insights, and emerging opportunities.
- Attracts, develops, and retains talented professionals to meet current strategic needs, as well as those for the future.
- Maintains a positive employee relations environment to build a high-performing team and culture across MillerKnoll.
- Takes responsibility for key projects and initiatives as determined by leadership team.
- Appropriately manage budget and related expenses.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or related field required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 10+ years of successful sales related experience, preferred 3 years of this experience in an international sales role
- 5+ years of successful people leadership experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Possess a passion for the sales process with an understanding of its foundations, actively seeking opportunities, calculating risk and committing to action.
- Financial and business acumen with the ability to analyze market data, interpret P&L information and translate that information into meaningful profitable action plans.
- Proven leadership skills, with an ability to motivate and influence teams to drive results and adopt new ideas and behaviors.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills demonstrated with all levels of internal and external leadership, including professional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Display a global perspective and cross-cultural work understanding and sensitivity.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and through others to influence and accomplish goals.
- Excellent problem solving; ability to generate new ideas and solutions.
- Demonstrated high level of integrity and business ethics.
- Fluent in office automation, communication, software and tools used.
- Willingness and ability to frequently travel internationally without restrictions.
