What You Can Expect
As our IT Manager, Cloud Infrastructure & Operations in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America, you will oversee the Data Center operations for all of IT & Digital infrastructure across all North America locations. This position requires someone to be a hands-on technical manager that can develop and execute operations standards, processes and procedures to guide the delivery of reliable, flexible and resilient IT infrastructure that meets business unit requirements and SLAs. Every day, you will report to the IT Director to coordinate with Architecture, Database, Security, Development, and Business team to ensure seamless delivery on all projects and solutions; along with, produce monthly PKI reports on system uptime, capacity, Cloud cost allocation, and SLA.
What You’ll Bring

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent with seven (7) years of professional experience in Information Systems; in lieu of a degree nine (9) years of proven professional experience in Information Systems
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in IT Infrastructure and Data Center Operations in a leadership capacity
- In-depth knowledge in managing hybrid cloud environment across On-Premise Data Centers, Azure and AWS
- Proven experience with system management tools (SolarWinds, LANDesk, Splunk, Azure Monitor, Veeam, SCCM, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of Infrastructure technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File sharing, Windows 10 workstation, SAN, NAS, IaaS, PaaS, Citrix, PowerShell scripting)
- Expert knowledge of general IT technologies (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OKTA, DevOps, Proofpoint, ZScaler, TCP/IP, SMTP, Authentication concepts, Agile
- Previous experience with operations, monitor, optimization, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server environment in an enterprise scale network
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; in the office three (3) days a week
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
