The Supplier Quality Engineer will support development and monitoring of AGCO suppliers. The ideal candidate will have Advanced Product Quality Development (APQP) experience and have a proven track record of executing the AMPIP Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) deliverables. The person in this role will need to be able to assess supplier readiness to support program launch, PPAP execution, and then develop appropriate countermeasures to ensure success.

 

Your Impact

  • Assess supplier manufacturing facilities and determine if supplier is capable of meeting AGCO technical, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
  • Assess supplier manufacturing facilities and determine supplier’s readiness to support program timing plans. Develop and implement countermeasures as needed.
  • Drive supplier PPAP timing plans, and submission and approval dates to ensure adherence /compliance to program timing.
  • Monitor supplier performance to program deliverables and part quality. Develop and implement countermeasures as needed.
  • Provide Supplier Quality support to all AGCO functional team members but specifically to Purchasing, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints, and understand how to apply GD&T
  • 2+ years’ experience working with external suppliers
  • 2+ years’ experience working with electrical
