Hiring Range: $60,507.00 - 66,560.00

Range Explanation: 

Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills,

qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

Summary: 

Performs senior-level professional human resources work in the Court’s Human Resources division. May be assigned to different areas depending on organizational needs to include talent acquisition/recruiting activities; administration of Human Resources Information Systems; administration of Courts compensation/classification systems; advanced administration and support of benefits/wellness programs and leaves; employee relations, and investigations or to address other current organizational neneeds  

Distinguishing Characteristics:  

This is a classified position that reports to the Director, Human Resources or Deputy Director, Human Resources, or Manager, Human ResourcesThe incumbent performs work under limited supervision and has no supervisory responsibilities. This is an on-site position; coverage within the courts might be needed. No relocation assistance will be provided.

Minimum Qualifications: 

A Bachelor’s degree in personnel management, business or public administration, or a related field, and at least two years of higher-level professional human resources experience, which may include a combination of any of the above specialized experience OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education approved by Human Resources. Preference may be provided for those with experience from more than one area of human resources discipline. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other leave policies.

  • Strong background in employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and policy interpretation.

  • Proven success in full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening to onboarding.
